HALLOWEEN
Halloween is on the 13 th October every year. It is a very
popular festival in America. People carve a pumpkin. They put a
candle in it. On Halloween night, they light the lantern and put it in
front of their windows. On this day, children wear scary costumes
such as witch or vampire.
They go trick or treat to their neighbours. The neighbours
usually give them candies. If they don’t give anything, children do
some funny things to them.
EASTER
Easter is a religious holiday celebrated by Christians.
People buy a lot of eggs and boil them. Later, people
paint the eggs and hide them in the garden. The children
look for the eggs. They find the eggs and eat them.
CHİNESE NEW YEAR
Chinese New Year is known as Spring Festival. It is in China
and it starts on the 23rd day of the 12th lunar month of the Chinese
calendar. The date of this festival changes every year because it
depends on the such as dragon, snake, rat, ox, pig, monkey, goat,
rabbit, tiger, horse, dog, roaster. Chineses clean their houses in this
date and they decorate their houses with red posters and lanterns.
Everywhere becomes red and the people feel fabulous.
