» Read the text below and answer the questions.

Jack, Maggie and Clara are exchange students in Turkey. They study at Cerrahpaşa Faculty of
Medicine. They decide to go on a tour to Istanbul, and they book a one day trip. Now, they
are on the tour bus and the tour guide is giving some information about their trip.
Tour guide: Welcome to this fantastic tour of Istanbul. My name is Ahmet and I’m your tour
guide. As you can see, we are on an open-top bus. So, you can see all the attractions from

your seat. There’s free wi-fi on our bus.
Clara: Can I ask a question?
Tour guide: Yes, of course.
Clara: Could you give us some information about the places we are going to visit today?

Tour guide: All right. As you know, Istanbul is a big and truly historical city with a lot of
tourist attractions. We have limited time, so we are going to visit some of them today. We
are going to start with Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. Then, we will visit Topkapı Palace.
After that, we will drive to Istanbul’s largest and oldest covered market, the Grand Bazaar.
We are going to have the lunch break there. Also, you will have enough time to do some
shopping there. And our tour will end at Galata Tower.
Jack: How long will our trip take?

Tour guide: It will take about ten hours. If you don’t have any other questions, we can start
our trip now. I can guarantee that you will have a fantastic day.
