» Rachel has taken beach vacations in different countries many times.

* Bir eylemin daha önceden beri gerçekleşip gerçekleşmediğini ifade etmek için cümlenin başında
veya sonunda "recently" ve "lately" zaman zarfları kullanılır. Her ikisi de "son zamanlarda, yakın
zamanda" anlamlarındadır.

» Has your brother developed some interesting holiday plans lately?

* Bir olayın ne kadar süredir devam ettiğini sormak için "How long ...? (Ne zamandır / Ne kadar
süre ...?)" soru kalıbını kullanırız. Bu soruya cevap verirken "for" ve "since" ifadelerini kullanırız.
œ Example:

A: How long have you been in India?
B: I have been in India / there for three months.

I have been in India / there since 2017.
