             y There are a few bananas on the plate. (Tabakta birkaç tane / az muz var.)

          *  Türkçe karşılığı “azıcık” olan “a little” ifadesi sayılamayan isimlerle birlikte olumlu cümlelerde
            kullanılır.

          œ  Examples:
             y There is a little fruit juice in the glass. (Bardakta azıcık meyve suyu var.)
             y I need a little flour for making this cake. (Bu pastayı yapmak için azıcık una ihtiyacım var.)

          *  Türkçede “çok, birçok” anlamına gelen “a lot of” hem sayılabilen hem de sayılamayan isimlerle
            birlikte olumlu, olumsuz ve soru cümlelerinde kullanılır.

          œ  Examples:
             y There are a lot of balloons for the decorations. (Süslemeler için çok balon var.)
             y We need a lot of milk for the cake. (Pasta için çok süte ihtiyacımız var.)
