          much / many

          *  Türkçede “çok” anlamına gelen “many / much” ifadeleri genellikle olumsuz cümlelerde ve soru
            cümlelerinde kullanılır. “much” ifadesi sayılamayan isimlerle kullanılırken, “many” sayılabilen isim-
            lerle kullanılır. “many” ifadesinden sonra gelen isim çoğuldur.

          œ  Examples:
             y There isn’t much sugar in the cake. (Pastada çok fazla şeker yok.)
             y Do we need many strawberries for the cake? (Pasta için çok çileğe ihtiyacımız var mı?)

             * “How many (Kaç tane)” sayılabilen isimlerle kullanılan bir soru kelimesidir. “How much (Ne kadar)”
          EDİTÖR YAYINLARI
            ise sayılamayan isimlerle kullanılan bir soru kelimesidir.
