                                          EXERCISE - 12


                Camels are mammals. They have a long neck, a small head, and a split upper lip. Their
              color is brown. They are about 2 meters tall, at the hump. The hump is made of fat
              and muscle. They are domestic animals. People usually use them for transportation and
              to carry their goods. They are herbivores. They eat grain, leaves and grasses. They live
              in the deserts of Arabia. They can live without water and food for about ten days.
              They can walk long distances without water. A thirsty camel can drink almost 100
              litres of water in ten minutes. They can weigh about 750 kg and live around 40 - 50
              years. They can walk 6 - 7 kilometres per hour and they are fast runners.
