Robin listens to the teacher
when she explains the rules. “You must come
to school on time, and please don’t run or jump in the
classroom. Also, don’t eat in the classroom.”
“May I open the window, please?” asks Robin. “Sure, you may.” says the
teacher. “Can I go back to my place?” asks Robin. “Of course, you can.”
replies the teacher.
The teacher continues, “Please be quiet when I’m talking and raise your
hand to speak. If you need to go out, please ask for permission. Don’t
fight, complete your work on time.”
At break time, Robin sees some of his classmates in the school garden.
They play a game. He says, “Can I join your game?” One of them
replies, “Sure. Stay there.” They play together until the next class starts.
