A DAY AT THE
INTERNATIONAL
FESTIVAL
It is a sunny day at the International Festival. Many children from
different countries are in a big park. They are showing their flags,
clothes, and dances. Tom is from England, and he is walking with his
friend Mia. She is English. “This is so fun!” says Mia. “Look at all the
children!” Tom smiles and says, “Let’s talk to them. I want to know where
they are from.”
Tom and Mia walk to a boy wearing a yellow shirt. “Hi!” says Tom.
“Where are you from?” The boy smiles and says, “I’m from Germany.
Where are you from?” Tom answers, “I’m from England. What nationality
are you?” The boy says, “I’m German.”
